About 'disoriented.net'
My name is Angus McIntyre. I'm an amateur photographer and occasional traveller. I live in New York, but I wasn't born here. I'm a recent immigrant to the US, having spent most of my life in Europe.
'disoriented.net' is my personal weblog and photoblog. It's a place for me to put bits of writing about things that interest me, often accompanied by photographs. I started writing it in 2004, when I took three months off from my job to travel and work in Asia. As my everyday life in New York doesn't usually furnish quite as much material as travelling, I've taken to adding occasional photographs chosen more or less at random from my (very extensive) archives to keep the site alive. You can see the latest picture at the top of the home page.
I have some other websites. One of them, raingod.com is really my 'main site'. It hasn't been updated for three years (an overhaul is in the works, and inching closer to completion). It looks a bit ugly and shabby now, but if you like my photographs, you can find more of them in my gallery on 'raingod.com. If you want to contact me, you can use the mail form there.
